You will get 2 lengths of very high quality shrink tubing 68" long, enough to cover both chains. Punch the holes with a Philips screwdriver or awl where you want them after shrunk onto chain. The photo shows holes punched in this manner and it works great. Pre-punched holes are a pain to get aligned and create unnecessary weak areas in the tubing. We are the pioneers for API shrink tubing chain covers and we know our tubing, this is the best tubing you can buy for your stand. This black shrink tubing is flexible, durable and excellent quality; equal to or better than original tubing. All you need to do is to pull the chain into the shrink tubing with wire or string, apply heat, and you’re done. The best way to heat it is with a heat gun but you can use a propane torch or other means. This shrink tubing will fit all API stands including models with #2040 chain.
