Rare fossil gastropod moonshell from dredge spoil on Pelican Island, Galveston,Texas. Beaumont Formation, Pleistocene age. In mud-stone. The moonshell eats oysters and their own kind. They eat their own kind. Fossil crabs used to found in dredge mud also. Not in concrete. I used to hunt this site back in the 1980's to 2015.  Also called shark eye.
