Toki-Som Stuffed animal toy art- manga anime style soft faux fur sculpture pet

This strange
fuzzy cute
hand made soft sculpture creature was purchased directly from the artist at a craft event in SF. It has only ever lived on my desk at work. Doing some down-sizing and so it’s up here. I've always assume he artist was inspired in her creation by Totoro and the like.
While its fur looks matted and tangled that is not from use or handling, it has
not lived the ‘hard-life’ of most stuffed critters with neither kids or animals handling it

That’s just the texture of the fur as is it was originally. Its always kinda reminded me of a small, cute sasquatch type of creature.
Height is about 7.5“
