    Description

    Up for your consideration is a vintage Paul E. Wirt Fountain Pen store advertising sign. The piece is fabricated out of metal with a cardboard backing that can be used to hang or stand up the piece. The front has raised letters in red on a gold
    metallic background. This is an extremely rare piece from a pen company that was stablished in 1885 and by 1893 had sold over a million fountain pens. Their products were of very high quality but by the 1920's the company was in declined, some say after the death of Paul Wirt's son. The piece is in very good condition considering its 110 plus years of age. There are some dings/dents but the enamel is in excellent condition.
