Waterman pens
The Waterman Pen Company is a major manufacturing company of luxury fountain pens, based in Paris, France. The firm was established in 1884 in New York City by Lewis Waterman, being one of the few remaining first-generation fountain pen companies, as "Waterman S.A." Waterman is the world's first manufacturer to develop nibs that use capillary phenomena and put them into fountain pens. The nib which used the capillary phenomenon became common sense of the fountain pen afterwards, and revolutionized the fountain pen industry. It was originally in America. The U.S. corporation went bankrupt, but survived in France and inherited the brand name.
